Overview

Foundations is the second volume of curated stories published by The Players' Tribune in a print magazine format. Aimed at engaging professional athletes and agencies, this edition was focused on visual exploration while highlighting the depth and quality of The Players' Tribune's storytelling.

Role

As a senior designer on the in-house team, I helped shape the zine's visual language and held it to The Players' Tribune's editorial voice.

I designed story-driven layouts, with design choices being guided by the themes and tone of each story. I assisted in curating photography throughout the volume to hold a single visual standard. I coordinated production from concept to final print, working with photographers, designers, and printers across timelines and budget.

Distribution

The magazine was exclusively distributed at Players' Night Out, The Players' Tribune's premier annual event in LA dedicated to celebrating its franchises, highlighting its most compelling stories, and showcasing key athlete partnerships.
